Our Pre-Kindergarten youngsters are following “Growing in Christ”. Together, they explore the Bible, draw connections to the Small Catechism, and learn the traditions of the Lutheran Church.
The Kindergarten thru 8th grade are studying Bible passages and learning how to use them in their lives. One Bible passage this month is: “So let us do all we can to live in peace. And let us work hard to build each other up,” (Romans 14:19, NIrV). Bottom Line: When God sent us Jesus, He proved He cared for us. Our ultimate example of peace is Christ. Because He made peace between God and us, we should strive to let peace rule in our own hearts and lives. Let’s help kids grow up and learn to do whatever they can do to fix what’s wrong between them and someone else. Let’s help them learn to make peace a priority in their lives.
We hope your kids from 3 year old through 8th grade will join us on Sundays at 9:30 am. Remember that you need to sign out your children after 10:15am April's theme in The Discovery Den is This month, we’ll spend most of our time in the book of Hebrews where we’ll discover more about what the Bible says about perseverance. We define perseverance as refusing to give up when life gets hard. We have the chance to lean in to them and say: “Don’t give up. Persevere in your faith. Trust God no matter what.”. Come join us!
